Destination and Hawaii Brides InformationDestination brides are a special breed. Planning a wedding isn't an easy task. Doing it from afar, is a whole other ballpark. To help each of you with your planning I've included some helpful information below.

Information on Destination Wedding Planning can be found here. The Knottie Knot is something thought up by the girls on the DW board. This knot is a symbol of their friendship amongst each other, as well as a good luck charm that is passed from each DW bride to another. It's nothing elaborate, but rather a simple piece of rope tied in a knot. What makes the knottie knot unique is that each bride is asked to take a picture with it and attach a postcard from her destination with words of encouragement or advice for the next bride. There are only 3 rules for those who wish to participate in the Knottie Knot tradition: 1. You must be an active poster on the Destination Wedding board. 2. You must mail the Knottie Knot the to the next person via Priority Mail with a tracking number. 3. You MUST enjoy both reading the advice and sharing the advice with the brides to come :) If you would like more information on the Knottie Knot, or if you would like to sign up, please email [email protected] |
